This may sound angry, but I am very upset about these people who are pretending to be your family. I realize both of you are fond of them, but your hearts & minds have been manipulated to believe what they tell you. You've been lied to about who they really are...
Kimberly Snyder is not your Grandma, Bill Snyder is not your Grandpa, Ceara is not Lacie's sister, and Zoe is not your cousin. If they had told the truth about being our old neighbors when we lived up in Camino, hard feelings, and this unnecessary estrangement could have been avoided.
I wouldn't mind you (and Lacie) being friends with them, because that is all they are, and all they will ever be...just old friends & neighbors.
